Brief Introduction about PUG breed:
The structure of Pug is a tiny,chubby,square,strong,bulky shaped in nature.The head is round shaped surrounded with heavy wrinkles on top of it and lips are short,punched inside little bit with short muzzle.Moles on the chicks are usually measured into their cuteness.Lower bite is undershot where all teeth meet together.The eyes looks very dark black and large shaped.Shape of ears is like rose or button.The forehead is completely surrounded with large dark wrinkles and that is the special feature of the breed.For normal family companion dogs they are preferred with single curl and for show rings usually double curl is preferred.The short coat colour is light fawn,black or sometimes yellow.
The temperament of Pug is normally mild and loyal.They are very playful and active with their owners and friends.Usually they don’t use for guarding purpose as they can bark heavily like Huge dog breeds Mastiffs,Rottweilers,St Bernards which have huge personality and strong body power.Pugs are normally preferred as a companion breed for family.They are very sensitive with the sound vibration heance they ndont need the unwanted punishment .They need mild person and confident owner.The normal height of them is twelve to fourteen inches in males and ten to twelve inches in females.
Weight is thirteen to twenty pounds in males and thirteen to eighteen pounds in females.Pugs response the change in temperature as like when it changes they suffer from cold,cough.In pug adult females at the time of whelping,bitch does not deliver naturally sometimes.As a result we have to use cesarean process at time.If you overfeed Pug ,they will become fat and may be having obesity problems in future causing shorter life period.It is said that Pug is an indoor dog breed and used by apartment owners.Like other huge breeds they do not require to take on daily morning and night walk.
Other dog especially in huge breeds one man should have to take them outside daily for a walk with holding their neck belt in hand and walking ahead of them with giving instructions.It is true that if we give them daily walk they can grow much better and live more healthy and happily but they do not require a walk as a compulsory task.Never do over exercise to Pugs as they will start wheeze.The life period of the pug breed is expected upto twelve to fifteen years or may be more than that if you are lucky..!! Like Maltese, Shh Tzu or hairy dogs pug don’t want regular grooming as their skin coat is short and easy to groom.
